With over 10 years of experience as a photographer and business owner, I originally started off in Industrial design. While studying my undergraduate degree at Concordia University, I discovered my love for taking photographs. As it begun as only a hobby of mine at the time, it quickly became not only my career, but my passion as well.
My photography skills are completely self-taught and although I have not had any formal training in photography I have never stopped educating myself by; reading books, surfing the internet and continuously experimenting with different techniques every chance that I get.
Since 2006 photography has inspired me to not only help change the way people envision themselves but most importantly, the way I envision myself. I feel very fortunate that I have witnessed, captured and shared the many milestones in people’s lives. From a baby’s first smile, to a loving couple’s first kiss, through my camera I vicariously have lived through other people’s experiences and moments over and over again. Capturing an image is a lot more than just the click of a button. My experience and the desire to creatively tell stories is what keeps me motivated everyday. Being a photographer has brought so much joy to my life. I am so grateful each day for this talent given to me by God.
Although I have worked so very hard to achieve where I am today, I cannot take all the credit for the success and growth of my business. I would like to thank my mother and father for their continued support for my love in the arts of photography. Since I was a child, my parents have always encouraged my dreams toward becoming an artist and they have been there through every step of the way. I can honestly say I would not have my dream career today if it were not for them. I am forever grateful, thank you.
